Crime Tracker — what the public record actually shows, ZIP by ZIP
A non-partisan transparency workspace built on publicly available information: agency crime reports, campus-safety releases, public-health and Census data. Look up any ZIP or postal code worldwide, separate the major incidents from the minor ones, read the caveat — then decide for yourself.

Read before using any figure
- Non-partisan by construction: this portal publishes public records and analysis. It takes no position on any policy, candidate, party or advocacy campaign, and no organisation funds its conclusions.
- Compiled from publicly available sources only — agency crime reports, campus-safety releases, public-health and Census data. Nothing here is obtained privately, and no individual is identified.
- Not predictive and not advice. A ZIP-level rate says nothing about any person's safety, any property's risk or any institution's conduct; it is not a background check, a valuation input or legal advice.
- Pilot sample slice — connect the live public feeds for current figures.

Type any postal code, city or country. Areas with an attached extract show the major and minor split; a code with nothing major on record reads clear instead of blank. Every marker is an aggregate — never a person, address or case.

Combined total across the four types above.
225% above the US violent-crime rate. Baselines differ by country, so read the rate as a local trend rather than a global ranking. A rate reflects reports filed with the local agency; it is not a measure of the people who live there.
Severity tiers
Major and minor, kept apart
A single violent-crime rate hides what actually happened. Incidents are sorted into the events that define an area's reputation and the property offences that make up most of the volume.
Major incidents
The events that define an area's reputation are counted separately, so a quiet area is not buried under property-crime volume.
Homicide
Intentional killing recorded by the agency of record.
School shooting
Firearm discharged with injury or intent at a school site.
Shooting with injury
Firearm assault causing injury outside a school site.
Minor incidents
Property and lower-level offences are reported as one combined total, because definitional differences between agencies make per-category splits unreliable.
Burglary
Unlawful entry to a home, business or outbuilding.
Theft
Personal property taken without force.
Vehicle theft
Motor vehicles reported stolen.
Vandalism
Criminal damage to property.
Worldwide coverage — 74 postal areas in 23 countries
The lookup accepts any ZIP or postal code anywhere in the world. Codes with an attached extract show the severity split; every other code returns a clear reading — no major incident on record — together with the note that no extract is attached yet, rather than an empty screen.
Analysis
Direction of travel, not a verdict
Rates move with reporting practice, population change and agency restatements. Read the curve as context, never as a prediction.

Every figure links back to the agency of record and the extract date. Where an agency revises a year, the revision replaces the earlier figure and the change is logged, so nothing on this page is quietly rewritten.
